{"id":185,"date":"2012-03-15T03:27:15","date_gmt":"2012-03-15T03:27:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cores2.com\/blog\/?p=185"},"modified":"2012-03-15T03:27:15","modified_gmt":"2012-03-15T03:27:15","slug":"latest-dwarfcraft-rhones-gameplay-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cores2.com\/blog\/?p=185","title":{"rendered":"Latest Dwarfcraft (Rh\u00c3\u00b4nes) gameplay video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this update of Dwarfcraft (soon to be renamed to Rh\u00c3\u00b4nes), there has been big changes to the GUI (Graphical User Interface), the world rendering mechanism, and the designation \/ dwarf AI system.:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/s8dNlFDZXnY\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As mentioned in the previous video uploaded today, the latest build of the code now includes large world generation done through chunks. A world is define by a width, length, and height of cubes, but internally there are large &#8220;chunks&#8221; of cubes that are stored together in memory so that the graphics card only renders chunks that should be shown on-screen while hides others off-screen. This is all done to help with performance.
